Joseph R. Traina has been involved in master planning, construction management and other real estate development activities for more than 30 years, during which time he has been responsible for the development and management of a $2 billion portfolio comprised of over 10 million square feet of commercial space. He has served as President of Lazard Development Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the investment banking firm Lazard Freres & Company, President of Galesi International, a real estate developer and manager, and Chairman of his own real estate development firm, The Traina Companies. He is also Chairman of Central Consulting & Contracting, a New York based Construction Manager and General Contracting firm which specializes in healthcare construction and development. |

Nestorio M. Tanpiengco, CPA, has been a senior financial manager in multi-state health systems from $40M to $1B+ in EBDITA, for the past 20 years. He is an expert in the analysis, development and operation of healthcare related facilities, including both for profit and not for profit organizations. As CFO of a major regional health system, he led the successful redevelopment of a failing acute hospital into a profitable multi-specialty, sub-acute facility which was subsequently sold to a private equity firm. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions, bond financings, strategic planning, real estate development and financial operations. |

Malcolm S. Sina is an industry leader in medical real estate development and acquisitions. Since 1994, as President and Chief Executive Officer of DASCO Companies, he has structured and negotiated over 70 transactions representing more than $1 Billion, developed 3.4 million square feet of healthcare related properties, acquired 1.5 million square feet, and serviced 3.5 million square feet under management. Prior to that, he served in real estate executive and equity positions, including at Aetna Life Insurance Company and The First National Bank of Chicago (now JPMorgan Chase), and has been responsible for over $5 billion in transactions, and for all aspects of development/acquisition including initial feasibility, design, construction, leasing, and property management for 4.5 million square feet. Mr. Sina holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in both Finance and Real Estate, both from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), as well as the ACHE CEO Circle. |

Michael C. Bailkin is a nationally recognized leader in economic development incentives, zoning and land use, and the conceptualization of large scale mixed-use projects. He has been a primary factor in the planning and development of major projects including, among many others, Metrotech, a 6 million sq. ft. redevelopment of the area adjacent to Polytechnic University in downtown Brooklyn, New York. As Chairman and CEO of Arete Development Corporation and other entities, Mr. Bailkin has been responsible for implementing over $3 billion in economic development incentives for private projects, as well as a broad range of land use actions throughout the U.S., and particularly in the New York metropolitan area. Prior to private practice, he served as General Counsel of the Mayor's Office of Development of the City of New York, Deputy Counsel for the City's Budget Bureau, and Assistant Counsel of the Roosevelt Island Development Corporation, a subsidiary of the New York State Urban Development Corporation. |

Frank Brooks has specialized in the design of healthcare facilities for over 30 years. As managing director of Freeman White, one of the oldest and largest architecture/engineering practices focused on healthcare, Mr. Brooks has been responsible for the architectural design and functional planning on healthcare projects totaling close to $1 billion in construction value, including the $350 million system-wide master plan and implementation at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC, and most recently, comprehensive facility master plans for Lehigh Valley Hospital’s two major campuses in Allentown and Bethlehem, PA. Architecturally, Mr. Brooks’ experience includes the recently completed 260,000 sf patient bed tower at LVH’s Muhlenberg Campus and the 380,000 sf patient bed tower, currently under construction, at LVH’s Cedar Crest campus, among many other projects. He is a member of AIA and the AIA Committee on Architecture for Health, the American Hospital Association and the Association for the Care of Children’s Health. |

Alan Rubin is a government relations specialist. He served as Vice President for Special Projects at the Beacon Council (the Miami-Dade Economic Development Agency), where he led major reconstruction efforts after Hurricane Andrew and facilitated the economic recovery of small businesses devastated by the storm. He also established Defcon Corporation a premier defense conversion consulting company in partnership with Price Waterhouse and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. Defcon provided economic studies and financing for disaster areas throughout the United States. Mr. Rubin joined Lehman Brothers’ investment banking division, where he participated in public finance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and private financing. Mr. Rubin was also an Economic Advisor under the Clinton administration, and is an executive in one of the largest government relations firms in the United States. |
